The South Australian Womens Country Week is a Golf Australia event that is now in its 75th year.
The event is run simultaneously at 4 golf courses in country SA. Designed to bring clubs together.
This year the Sandy Creek Golf Club has been chosen to host the Bronze Shield. This is for the handicap range of 21.5-28.0 GA handicap women in AUS.
The event comprises of:
Monday – Registration Dinner
Tuesday – 18 Holes of Stroke
Wednesday – 18 Holes of stroke
Dinner and presentations at the club from 7pm
Thursday – Foursomes and Lunch
This event is highly regarded and considered an honour to host. We are delighted to be hosting this years Bronze Shield.
With the event comes a small inconvenience to your golf. We ask that you consider playing at different times then you would normally or feel free to come and lend a hand for the event. There is a volunteer sheet in the bar for you to put your name to. It will be greatly appreciated.
Monday there will be no difference to your golf. Come anytime.
Tuesday – The course will be closed for all play until 1:30
Wednesday The course will be closed for all play until 1:30
Thursday the course will be closed for all play until 12:30
Please note that the club house will also be unavailable for members who are not in this event; Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday – All Day.
Spike Bar access only on Thursday from 1:00-5:00
