Today I had some ladies come into the shop and hand over these two pictures. The ladies were from a historical society in the Barossa and these pictures were shown.
The back of the picture is written
“Opening of Gawler Golf Club Sunday 30th of April 1961 – First Ball Driven By Dr W D B Middleton – Cockatoo Valley”
I don’t know about you but I think this is bloody brilliant!

Update – The gentleman in the 3rd Photo – standing behind Dr Middleton with sunglasses and Tie on is Jack D Weaver. Father of Current member John Weaver.
