“I have been going and hosting the Country weeks for over 20 years and this is the best I have ever been a part of. The smoothness of the competition administration and results, the dinner – the best I have seen by a long long way… and doubt it will ever be topped” – Golf Australia representative.

The event turned out to be a wonderful success. This success only came about by an almighty effort of the Members of the Club, ladies and men, whom volunteered their time and laboured tirelessly through all the days and events. The Board and members thank you all for this amazing effort. A special thanks to Danny and Brayden for having the course in a very playable condition.
I personally, would like to mention and thank all that helped in this event: Kaye and Trevor Korber, Kath and Jack Barr, Louise and Rocco Polito, Tom and Marion Bow, Helen Kelly, Ian Pye, Terry Carter, Les and Dick Milner, Ian Monro, Sandy Francas, Julie and Dave Witherington, Bearta Pye, Helen Schultz from GA, Gail Sweet and Grant Kelly. Without your efforts this event was not possible. A special thanks to Kaye, Kath and Helen for the many weeks of lead up to the event as well as Brayden for bringing the team all together to achieve an event that is seen on the national level. Also to staff Natasha, Jordan, Danny and Tahlia for your work in service to us all.

Ladies Interum Report
Dear Brayden, Committee and Members,
I personally thank committee members who supported our ladies event. To the male members Ian Monro, Rocco Polito, Terry Carter, Dick Milner and Tom Bow for raking the bunkers and spotting.
Two special mentions. To Trevor Korber and Jack Barr ( Kaye and my husbands ) who have had to put up with two driven women over the past few months to bring this event to the success it has been.
A great big thank you to Danny Buss who has worked tirelessly over the past few months and presented our course beautifully for this event. Also to you Brayden for your help both on the course and in the pro shop.
Thank you to Natasha, Tahlia and Jordan for their effort behind the bar.
I would say without a doubt that this was the most successful Country Weeks that I have attended and this was the view of many of the girls. I would add the most successful event held at our club.
As you mentioned Brayden “you witnessed true club spirit at SCGC “
Let us carry on this Club Spirit and continue with the positivity.
