Paul Koumiotis – Summer Cup Champion

The Summer Cup is a long standing trophy event at the Sandy Creek Golf Club.

The event was played over 2 weeks (19th and 26th of January 2018) and the highest total stableford points for the 36 holes is awarded the Summer Cup Trophy. The event has no entry fee and prizes are awarded to 1st and second of the overall trophy as well as normal Saturday Prizes.

Paul Koumiotis lead the way after round one with a scorching 48 Stableford Points.  Hugh Daw was under the card with his 45 points which on any other day would have won by a mile. Week two saw the slow and steady Steph Kelyock (one of our up and comer champions -10  years old – Happy Birthday for the 17th of Feb!) almost match her first round 42 points with a 41… Paul also had 41 which was enough to secure the win my a mere 6 shots.

Well done all players and thanks for reading.
