This weekend will be a pairs competition where you play your individual game but the best score between you and your playing partner count for your teams score.
Don’t let the number ‘4 ball’ confuse you. You will be playing as a pair and yearly it is 2… but like all things in golf, it doesn’t make much sense.
The important thing is to make sure you are booked next to your playing partner. Looking at the booking sheets there are 4 booking cells, if we number them 1,2,3,4 from left to right then 1&2 are a pair and 3&4 are a pair. In the case of no one in booking cell 4 then player 3 will play individual stableford,
All too much and your head is about to explode??? that’s OK, just go out and play your round of golf and let the computer sort it out.
Scoring- Player 1 on hole 3 has a 4 pointer and player 2 has a 5 pointer, Players 2 score counts as the “team score” for Hole 3. You’re effectively taking the best stableford score for each hole.
Be sure to check the booking sheet so you are with the person you wish to be with.
Example: Goodwin and Whittaker will be a pair, Pye and Noack will be a pair
If Fran wanted to be Goodwins partner (I KNOW.. BIG IF Right?) then we would need to know this before teeing off.

Brayden
